Hospitality

No One Stands Alone

From the minute a person walks through the door at Shalom they should feel comfortable in this new, sometimes intimidating atmosphere. When regular attendees look for unfamiliar faces, then reach out and greet them,

no one will stand-alone.

It is a myth that you must know everyone in the church in order to feel like you are a part of a church.

The purpose of the Hospitality Ministry at Shalom is to provide opportunities for singles, couples and families to get to know some people better. This website will give you a sample of activities and events planned for the Shalom family.

Carry-in Dinner
...
A Carry-in Dinner is a time for singles, couples, and families to come together for food and visiting. Couples and families are asked to bring a main dish and a dessert or salad. Singles can bring a dish of their choice. Beverages, plates, glasses and flatware will be provided.
